If you have an Aeolian Orchestrelle, you just may want a copy of this roll to test the pneumatic mechanism.
The roll starts with a chromatic "run" in octaves down the scale, then another octave run up the scale. Then each note is tested for repetition. The final section contains one verse of a very well known musical selection.
The roll is perforated on dry wax paper, is 10 1/8" wide and is perforated at 6 holes to the inch...the exact specifications of the orchestrelle.
It is also a good opportunity to get a roll punched by me to see if it will play on your instrument.
The roll is furnished WITHOUT a pin end spool. Just about any roll collection has at least one roll that can no longer be played and this test roll can easily be installed on that spool.
